Sofi Sanchez Parra is a 4th grader at Oakland Heights Elementary School, known for her love for learning.
As a kind, enthusiastic student, Sofi is a standout student and an asset to her classroom. She is always eager to help her friends, motivated by her love for learning and desire to see everyone succeed. Sofi says she loves to learn all aspects of school, but her favorite subject is math!
Mrs. Lynette Ditto, Oakland Heights Elementary Principal, says, “Sofi never gives up and is not afraid to make mistakes!”.
When asked what she loves most about Oakland Heights, Sofi said, “My favorite part is the teachers because I love learning!”.
Sofi was recognized at the October Board meeting for being a Critical Thinker. This recognition comes from the RSD Profile of the Graduate, which outlines the attributes RSD graduates will encompass when they graduate.
