Russellville School District is excited to welcome Hailey Shirley as the new Cyclone Health and Wellness Center Coordinator. In this role, Mrs. Shirley will oversee the Center's operations, ensuring that RSD students and the broader community receive expanded access to the support and care they need to thrive.
A longtime resident of the area, Mrs. Shirley is deeply connected to the River Valley community and is passionate about building strong partnerships to further the health and wellness of students and families.
The Cyclone Health and Wellness Center, funded through a $330,000 grant from the Arkansas School-Based Health Center program, will offer health and wellness services to enhance the overall well-being of RSD students. Mrs. Shirley's role is pivotal in ensuring the Center operates efficiently and continues to serve as a vital resource for the community.
"We are thrilled to have Mrs. Shirley join our team," said Dr. Ginni McDonald, RSD Superintendent. "Her background in social services and her passion for helping others will greatly benefit our school-based health programs and the overall well-being of our students and community."
Mrs. Shirley is an Arkansas Tech University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Rehabilitation Science degree and brings a wealth of experience in social services, case management, and education. Previously, she served as the Social Service Director at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she worked closely with nursing staff and families to provide support and develop individualized care plans. Mrs. Shirley's experience also includes roles in early childhood development and as a computer lab instructor for Russellville School District.
